Tell the City: "Fund It! Build It"
Comment is open on the City of Greater Sudbury's Over to You page from November 26 to December 18. Share your support today! Following that, we will be encouraging the community to send messages of support directly to the Mayor and Council.
Preserve The Heritage
The Anderson Farm Recreation Project will ensure the interpretative buildings and museum operations remain unaltered, and the growth on the site will help preserve them for generations.
Activate the Culture
New amenities will bring the culture and history of Anderson Farm to life, including the showpiece: a newly built, 4-season public sauna facility! A new covered stage for performances and an outdoor cooking area will activate the site for residents of all ages!
Fun in the water and more!
The community was clear - water play is the most important amenity we are looking for, and we want it at Anderson Farm. The Project delivers interactive water features, along with a skateboard park, kid-focused play "pods" throughout the site, and hundreds of meters of paved bike path which can become a skating path in the winter!
